Dr. Thom E. Lobe is one of America's most experienced regenerative-medicine physicians. He completed his medical education across the University of Maryland, Johns Hopkins, the University of Pennsylvania, and Harvard, graduating cum laude from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He was mentored by the former U.S. Surgeon General, Dr. C. Everett Koop, at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
After completing general and pediatric surgical training at Ohio State University Hospitals and Nationwide Children's Hospital, Dr. Lobe served as Chief of Service at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston for eight years, where he built one of the earliest laser therapy programs for pediatric disease. At the Shriners Burns Hospital he developed deep expertise in advanced nutrition, metabolism, hormone therapy, skin care, and regenerative wound healing. Over 20 years in Memphis he trained more than 40 surgeons from the United States and abroad.
In 2008 Dr. Lobe opened his first anti-aging clinic in Beverly Hills, and in 2013 relocated his main practice to Chicago as Regenevéda. Today he is Professor of Clinical Surgery at the University of Illinois Chicago and focuses on advanced hormone therapy, anti-aging medicine, and regenerative therapies including stem-cell and peptide protocols.
